Applying for a job properly takes more than sending a generic CV. For every role you want to pursue, Shoutt helps you build a complete, tailored application from the ground up. Here is how it works.
CV review and optimisation
Once you select a role, Shoutt analyses your CV against the specific job. First, it automatically tidies your CV's formatting and structure so it works correctly in recruiter systems, standardises tenses, reorders your most relevant bullets to the top, and cleans up your skills section. This happens silently before you see anything, and you get a summary of what was changed.
You then get an optimisation score showing how competitive your CV is for that specific role. The score is based on how well your experience level matches the role, which skills from the job description are present or missing, whether your results and achievements are backed up with real numbers, whether all key sections are present and complete, and spelling and grammar. The score updates in real time as you work through each suggestion and accept changes.
If your experience level is significantly above or below what the role asks for, we flag this upfront before anything else so you can make an informed decision about whether to proceed.
The AI then works through a prioritised list of improvements with you, one at a time. It might ask you to fill in missing skills, add numbers to achievements that describe what you did but not the impact, align your job title to better reflect the role, address any employment gaps, or tighten up your professional summary. Each suggestion is specific to your CV and the role, not generic advice. You can accept, reject, or ask for a different suggestion at each step.
Cover letter
Once your CV is in good shape, Shoutt creates a targeted cover letter for the role. It is written from your experience and achievements, linked directly to the job description, and written in your own voice. Not a template with the name changed. A letter that makes a specific case for why you are the right person for this particular role.
You review and edit everything before anything is submitted. You stay in control throughout.
